Kismet’s Landing Nestled along the Umpqua River in Reedsport, Oregon, Kismet's Landing is more than a restaurant — it's a gathering place for locals, fishermen, and seasonal wanderers drawn to the coast's rugged beauty.

Founded by Oregon native Mia Langley, whose roots run deep in the fishing community, Kismet's celebrates the region's bounty through inventive, locally-inspired dishes and heartfelt hospitality. We source our fish directly from the fishermen who know these waters best — Black Cod and Albacore featured year-round, wild Salmon when the season allows, and other prized local catches as the tides bring them in.

At the heart of the kitchen is Chef Rob Chester, whose cooking bridges worlds. Rob brings a seamless fluency in Asian, French, and American culinary traditions, weaving them together into dishes that feel both surprising and deeply satisfying.
